Weight Wise Workshop – 8 week series
January 16 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Attend 8 of the Weight Wise Workshops in a supportive sequence, and gain knowledge and build on learning week by week. Your one-time registration will register you for all the classes in the series. Classes will be at the same day, time, and location each week for 8 weeks.

Week 1 (Jan. 16, 2019) – Getting Started – *Recommendation: If taking Weight Management classes, begin with this class, if possible* Learn how weight affects our health and strategies to get started with weight management, and learn different treatment options for weight management.
Week 2 (Jan. 23, 2019) – Lifestyle Change – A Toolkit for Success – Learn how to apply the change process for making healthy, sustainable lifestyle changes. Also learn strategies such as decision making, goal setting, problem solving and trapping negative thoughts.
Week 3 (Jan. 30, 2019) – Nutrition – Top 5 Tips to Reduce Calories – Discover the Top 5 Tips and how to put them into practice to reduce calories for weight management.
Week 4 (Feb. 6, 2019) – Moving Matters – Including Physical Activity in Your Day – Learn about different types of phsical activity and their benefits, and get some tips on how to get more physically active. You will set your own physical activity goal to get started!
Week 5 (Feb. 13, 2019) – Nutrition – The Truth About What Works in Weight Management – Learn how meal patterns (eg; when and how much you eat), food choices and portion sizes impact weight management.
Weeks 6, 7, 8 (Feb. 20 – Mar. 6, 2019) – Managing Emotional Eating 1, 2 & 3 – This 3 session series will help you learn what influences eating behaviors, while helping you build skills and learn tools to help you manage your emotional eating.
