Better Choices, Better Health – Virtual Workshop
November 16 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
WHAT IS BETTER CHOICES, BETTER HEALTH?
Alberta Health Services offers a free six-week group workshop for adults over 18 years who have or support someone with a chronic health condition(s), including chronic pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, heart disease, and diabetes. The workshop helps you explore ways to manage your health and live your life, one step at a time.
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT ME?
BCBH® is led by two trained leaders who have experience with a long-term health condition(s) in their own life. Together, participants and leaders learn from each other by sharing their experiences and exploring possible solutions.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Managing your symptoms, pain, fatigue, sleep issues and stress
Talking to loved ones and healthcare providers about your condition
Setting realistic weekly action plans for your health and life
Problem solving, decision making, and more
