Alcohol and health; do you know enough?

Well informed people will be more conscious of the harmful effects of excessive drinking, and will be aware that if they choose to drink alcohol, drinking in moderation is a healthier choice. You will learn the relationship between alcohol and a range of health topics such as mental health, sleep, alcohol hangovers and alcohol use and adolescents.

Participants will explore the Low-Risk Alcohol Drinking Guidelines (LRDG) as well as healthy perceptions, attitudes and behaviours toward alcohol use. This session is appropriate for adults, parents, teachers and community members are welcome.

This session is being offered by the St. Albert Mental Wellness & Addictions working table.
